Pomona — [August 5, 2025] — Project Sister Family Services is excited to announce the opening of its new space and invites the community to join a special Open House on Wednesday, October 1, 2025, from 2:00 to 6:00 PM. The celebration will include guided tours, opportunities to meet the team, and a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony at 5:00 PM.

The new space represents a significant milestone for Project Sister Family Services as it continues to expand its ability to provide vital services and support to the community. Attendees will learn more about the programs and resources available, as well as meet the dedicated staff and leadership behind the organization’s mission.


“We are thrilled to welcome our community into our new home,” said Michelle Cates, Executive Director of Project Sister Family Services.


“This space will allow us to better serve survivors and families while continuing our commitment to supporting healing, advancing equity, and building safer communities across the Pomona Valley.”

The event is free and open to the public. Light refreshments will be provided.

About Project Sister Family Services Project Sister Family Services supports survivors of sexual assault and child abuse, along with their families, across the East San Gabriel and Pomona Valleys. Through crisis intervention, trauma counseling, prevention education, and a 24-hour hotline, the organization provides compassionate, bilingual services in the communities we serve. Partnering with law enforcement, schools, healthcare providers, and community groups, Project Sister works to ensure survivors are heard, supported, and empowered.
