Healing the Heart 2005
Event honors David Ring and Alicia Perez de Hitchcock

The most exciting Healing the Heart ever took place on Tuesday, May 17, 2005, raising over $45,000 for Project Sister Family Services' sexual assault crisis intervention services and prevention education programs. Healing the Heart is held annually as a benefit to raise funds in support of PSFS' services and programs for survivors of sexual violence and child abuse in the East San Gabriel and Inland Valleys.

David RingHonorees for Healing the Heart 2005 included Attorney David M. Ring, in appreciation of his work in civil litigation on behalf of children who were victims of molestation in their schools, and Alicia Perez de Hitchcock, in recognition of her tireless fundraising for our agency, and for her many years of service as a Project Sister Family Services Hot-Line crisis intervention volunteer.

This elegant evening is a great opportunity for supporters and friends of Project Sister Family Services to gather over a lovely dinner, bid on fabulous Silent Auction items, and honor members of the community whose work has furthered Project Sister Family Services' mission to reduce the trauma and risk of sexual violence and child abuse. Healing the Heart 2005 was held at the Sheraton Suites Fairplex Hotel in Pomona.

This year's guests were treated to memorable appearances by actress Teri Garr, of Friends, Young Frankenstein and Mr. Mom, among many others, and improvisational comedian/actress Diane Amos, known for her work in stand-up comedy, theater, commercials, and films, including Angels in the Outfield, EdTV, and Where the Money Is.
