Project Sister Family Services (PSFS) strives to reduce the trauma and the risk of sexual assault, child abuse, and child sexual abuse in the East San Gabriel and Inland Valleys of Southern California by providing a variety of crisis intervention services and outreach and prevention programs.

Project Sister Family Services (PSFS) is the foremost agency dedicated to providing services to the women, children, and men survivors of sexual assault and abuse and their families in the East San Gabriel and Inland Valleys in Southern California, a region with a population of over 2.3 million persons. Project Sister Family Services works with local law enforcement, district attorneys, courts, hospital and health care providers, schools, churches and other community groups and agencies. Healing the Heart 2009

To celebrate 37 years of healing hearts in the East San Gabriel and Inland Valleys Project Sister Family Services hosted its ninth annual fund-raising dinner and auction, Healing the Heart 2009, An Evening of Magic.

The event was held on Saturday, April 25th, 2009 on the campus of Cal Poly Pomona. The awards gala featured dinner, live and silent auctions, and honored members of the community whose work has significantly furthered PSFS’s mission to reduce the trauma and risk of sexual violence and child abuse. Fallout is a docudrama about teen dating violence that Aisle 7 Productions produced for Project Sister Family Services. Fallout explores the growing problem of dating violence among teens and its effect not only on the victims, but also on their friends and families.

Using a mix of narrative accounts and interviews with real teens, this gritty docudrama follows a group of students as they experience physical, sexual, and psychological violence and its aftermath.
